B. A. Degree in Economics
The Department offers a B.A. degree with a number of options and
also offers a Minor in Economics. The faculty in the Department of
Economics
is interested in educating students for intesesting and rewarding lives
through the study of economics. The curriculum in economics is designed
to provide students with both a solid understanding of modern economic
analysis and the analytical and quantitative skills needed to be
effective
decision makers in the private or the public sector. Graduates of the
curriculum
are employed in business, government, and teaching. Graduates have also
gone on to law school and graduate study.

Kentucky University. A grade of "C" or higher in all courses counted
